A: Any poly sheeting. Do not attempt to adhere an original Zip-Up door to porous materials like canvas, cloth, etc.

Q: How long will an original Zip-Up door last?
A: It has been our experience that an original Zip-Up door will stay water-tight and last longer than the poly sheeting to which it is adhered.

Q: What materials are used in the manufacture of an original Zip-Up door?
A: The best: The door fabric is a woven #10 poly material. The actual zipper is nylon and is doubled sided so that it can be opened from either side, all threads are UV coated. And the long-lasting, virtually permanent adhesive...well, that's a carefully guarded Zip-Up trade secret!

Q: Can an original Zip-Up door be used on a shrink wrapped boat?
A: Yes. However, the boat must be completely shink wrapped before the Zip-Up door is installed. The door can be adhered to either the outside of the shrinkwrap or the inside of the shrinkwrap.
